Dr. Maria VanDerMeid

Dr. Maria VanDerMeid graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia in 1992.

Dr. VanDerMeid completed her internship with the Medical College of Virginia and family practice residency at the Fairfax Family Practice Residency Program in Fairfax, Virginia.

She relocated with her husband to Heidelberg, Germany where she served as a civilian staff physician doing family practice and gynecology/obsterics for the United States Army for three years.

She enjoys seeing children and adults in her practice. Dr. VanDerMeid is a board certified family practitioner and joined Rappahannock Family Physicians in 1998.
